Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Helm

Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Helm 79, formerly of rural Patterson, Missouri passed away Wednesday August 19, 2020 in St Louis, Missouri. Ronnie was born August 16, 1941 to the late Vernon and Dorothy (Costner) Helm in St Louis, Missouri. He and his family made their home in rural Patterson, Missouri where Ronnie enjoyed feeding the catfish in their pond and helping his Dad on the farm. He had an easy-going personality and had worked as an assembler at the Sheltered Workshop in Piedmont. Ronnie enjoyed people watching and doing puzzles.  He loved cars and dogs.  Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Verna Kay Helm, uncle; Willard Helm. Ronnie is survived by his aunt; Jane Helm, cousins; Gary Helm and Deborah Dierzbicki. Visitation was held at 10:00 am, Monday, August 24, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville. Funeral service followed at 11:00 am also in the Greenville Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Dave Dierzbicki, Nick Helm, Gary Helm, Roy Bangert, David Davis, and Alex Ruegg served as pallbearers. Burial was in Greenville City Cemetery.
