Terry Lee Dibble

Terry Lee Dibble of Pilot Knob, MO passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 72 years, 6 months, and 20 days. He was born January 29, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to the late Paul Kernan Dibble and Audrey Richter. For 29 years, Terry worked for the City of Ironton where he served his community with pride, love, and if you knew Terry, a lot of laughter! He also served as an alderman for the City of Pilot Knob, he was a member of the A.V. Elks Lodge and the A.V. Eagles Lodge, he supported the Patriot Guard and our local military veterans, and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone who needed it; he was the definition of a good man and friend. He loved his family, he loved his friends, he loved his community, and he loved his Lord whom he thanked every day when his feet hit the floor. Terry will be missed greatly and remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him. Terry is survived by six children; Cynthia Dibble of Illinois, Rebecca Garner of Imperial, Terry Dibble, Jr. of Illinois, Larry Periman of Florida, James Periman of Bonne Terre, and Nikki Dibble of Pilot Knob, one sister Janie Nelson of Illinois, eleven grandchildren; Joanie, Justin, Jared, Jade, Jessica, Reghan, Aubrey, Myah, Bryna, Jarrett, and Ethyn, two great-grandchildren, Summer and Esmay, and many other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Paul Dibble. On Friday, August 21, 2020 services will be as follows: Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm and will last until 7:30 pm. From 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm, we will be having a shorter Celebration of Life where we will be sharing memories and stories, listening to some of Terry’s favorite songs, and watching the memorial video as we celebrate Terry’s remarkable and honorable life.
