Veta I. Fisher

Veta I. Fisher, daughter of the late Hiram Barcliff and Vinia Langley Barcliff, was born in Ellsinore, Missouri, on August 16, 1926. She departed this life at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on August 13, 2020, at the age of 93.

Veta attended the Ellington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to the Nutrition Center and reading.

Veta was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Richard Fisher and Kenneth Lynn Fisher, two brothers, Alfred G. Barcliff and Howard G. Barcliff, and three sisters, Wilma Pyles, Pauline Eddington, and Lucille Blue.

Veta is survived by one son, Gerald Fisher of Bonne Terre, Missouri, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Veta will be deeply missed by her family and a host of friends who will mourn her passing.
