William “Mike” Michael Allen

William “Mike” Michael Allen, 66, of Piedmont, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, MO, March 7, 1954, to parents William Thomas and Stella Mae (Royal) Allen.  Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He married Mary Ellen Burton, February 2, 1974, and to this union three children were born. He was a truck driver for Beehlman Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Rings Creek General Baptist Church. Mike enjoyed traveling, spending time on the beach, fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: David and Richard Allen. Mike is survived by his loving wife of forty-six years; children: Michael Allen and wife Alicia of Piedmont, Brian Allen of Piedmont, Mary Michelle Winchester of Derby, VT; grandchildren: Cody Winchester, Logan Winchester, Zach Winchester, Dustin Winchester, Michael Allen, Caitlin Koenig, Drew Allen; great-grandchildren: Brantley Allen, Easton Koenig, Carson Allen; brother: Vernon Allen and wife Sharon of Rolla; sister: Deborah “Debbie” Allen of Piedmont. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation was held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service followed at 2:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Vernon Allen ministered to the family. Joel Koenig, Michael Allen, Drew Allen, Dusty Winchester, Brantley Allen, Ricky Allen, Vincent Allen served as pallbearers. Burial was in Alwood Cemetery, Piedmont.
