Betty Marlene Barker

     Betty Marlene Barker, daughter of the late Clyde Guinn and Opal Forsythe Guinn, was born on January 28, 1935 in Fredericktown, Missouri, and departed this life on September 28, 2020 at Clark’s Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont, Missouri, at the age of 85 years.

     Mrs. Barker was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Patterson, Missouri and she was a homemaker.

     On January 9, 1953, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to William (Bill) Barker.  Mr. Barker preceded her in death on August 10, 2018.

    She is survived by; two daughters, Jeanne Tittle and her husband Ed of Union City, Tennessee and Pam Stause and her husband Brad of Dexter, Missouri; by her brother, Jimmy Guinn of Fredericktown, Missouri; by three grandchildren, Holly Turner and her husband Stephen of Union City, Tennessee, BM3 Ariel Wlodarcik of San Diego, California, and Ryan Wlodarcik of Columbia, Missouri; by one great-granddaughter, Stella Turner of Union City, Tennessee; and by many nieces and nephews.

     Other than by her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Guinn and Ronnie Guinn; by three sisters, Delores Mann, Peggy Hovis, and Donna Harper; and by her granddaughter, Dawn Tittle.

     Private, family only, graveside services will be conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield on Monday, October 5, 2020.

     Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
