Paul Lee Davis

Paul Lee Davis, son of the late Monte Davis and Byrtle Gant Davis, was born in Greeley, Missouri, on October 20, 1939. He departed this life at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri, on September 29, 2020, at the age of 80.

On April 20, 1963, in Ellington, Missouri, Paul was united in marriage to Delores Pritchett and to this union three children were born. Paul was a member of the People’s Church in Arnold, Missouri. He enjoyed playing golf, singing southern gospel music and having good conversations. Paul’s greatest joy was spending time with his family,

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Monte and Byrtle Davis.

Paul is survived by his wife Delores Davis of Arnold, Missouri, one son, Steven Davis of Arnold, Missouri, two daughters, Paula Morton and husband Roger of Keithville, Louisiana, and Michele “Shellie” Wicks and husband Mark of Arnold, Missouri, one brother, Keith Davis and wife Saling of Pflugerville, Texas, two sisters, Beverly Wimbish and husband Wayne of St. Peters, Missouri, and Donna Purcell of Salem, Missouri, and five grandchildren, Cody, Steven, Kaitlin, Andrew and Madyson. Paul will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.

 

Visitation: Friday, October 2, 2020, from 11 AM-1 PM at People’s Church in Arnold, Missouri

Funeral to follow at 1 PM

Pallbearers: Cody Morton, Andrew Wicks, Steven Davis, Mark Wicks, Bruce Tremaine and Lance Tremaine

Burial: Ellington City Cemetery, Ellington, Missouri
