Peter A. Hanger

Peter A. Hanger, 79, of Greenville, MO, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab. He was born in St. Louis, MO, September 23, 1940, to parents Jefferson and Avis (Lawson) Hanger.

Pete was a loving father and beloved uncle. He married Carol Hodges in 1960, and to this union two children were born. Pete worked for Stout Signs as an Aluminum Fabricator for road signs. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. Pete was funny, known for his quick wit, and had a great sense of humor. After retiring, he moved back to the Piedmont area and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Pete is survived by his children: Harold Hanger and Kelley Schneider and husband Dennis all of Osage, MO; brother: James Hanger of Piedmont; sisters: Lorretta Lundy and Marcella Richardson both also of Piedmont. Pete will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
