Russell Warren Shy

Russell Warren Shy, son of Georganna Shy Hughes and the late Richard Joseph Shy, was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo on October 18, 1963.  He departed this life on September 23, 2020 at the age of 56.

Russ attended Mineral Area Community College after attending elementary and high school in Ellington, Mo.  Russ loved working on and racing cars.  He spent many years working in the automobile industry in some capacity.

Russ was preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph Shy.  He is survived by his mother, Georganna Hughes, two sisters, Lisa (Edward) Hunt, and Pamela (Daniel) Capps, as well as many relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been determined.
