Raymond Willard Nash
Raymond Willard Nash, known to most as “Ray” passed away October 17,2020 in Viburnum, Missouri at the age of 90 years. He was born July 19, 1930 in Belleview, Missouri the son of the late John and Verna (Jaycox) Nash.
On June 23, 1951 he was united in marriage to Norma Jean Williams and to this union three children were born; Norma Owens (Butch Callahan) of Annapolis, Missouri, Gary Nash (Alicia) of Belleview, Missouri and Dennis Ray Nash who died as an infant. Ray is also survived by four stepchildren; Virginia Higgins, Ann and Ed Criswell II, Frank Cognata, and Joan and Jeff McMullin, five grandchildren; Nicole Gannon (Shane), Shawn Owens, Steve Nash (Carla), Stacy Ware, and John Nash (Tanya). Eleven great grandchildren, one great great grandson, nine step grandchildren, and fifteen step great grandchildren also survive. His special friend, Shirley Barton also survives.
Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean, his second wife, Lucille Morgan, his sister, Edna Mae (Nash) Lambert, two great granddaughters; Anastasia and Alicia Nash, and his step son-in-law, Dan Higgins Sr.
Ray retired from MoDot where he worked in maintenance. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Belleview Masonic Lodge. Ray enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Nash officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
