Marvin “Bub” Adams, Sr.

Marvin “Bub” Adams, Sr., age 70, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born July 29, 1950 in Des Arc, MO, the son of Marvin E. Adams and Lucille (Ashburn) Adams.
Bub was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the US Army from 1969 to 1971. He was a retired carpenter and had lived in Poplar Bluff for many years.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Marvin and Lucille Adams, 1 brother, Roy Ernest Adams and 3 sisters, Helen Adams, Sandra Adams and Linda Emerson.
Survivors include 2 children, Marvin “Marty” Adams, Jr., of Poplar Bluff, Angie Adams, 1 brother, Gary Adams, Sr., of Belleville, IL, 2 sisters, Kathy Adams and Carolyn Cox, both of Piedmont.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Bro. Richard Sanders officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Marty Adams, Gary Adams, Sr., Terry Macychowiak, Mason Buchanan, Al Koch and John Holmes served as Pall Bearers. Military Honors were given at graveside by the US Army and the Piedmont American Legion Post # 281 Honor Team. Interment was in the Mt. View Cemetery at Des Arc under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
