Hetty L. Tancsa

Hetty L. Tancsa, daughter of the late Joseph Hampton and LuElla Vest, was born in Black, Missouri, on September 18, 1936. She departed this life at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri, on November 28, 2020, at the age of 84.

 

In July of 1966, in St. Louis, Missouri, Hetty was united in marriage to Joseph Tancsa. Hetty attended the Bayless Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoyed cooking, drawing, shopping and traveling. Hetty’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

 

Hetty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Rick Wallis, and three brothers, Les, Louie and Ervin Hampton.

 

Hetty is survived by one son, Bill Wallis of Potosi, Missouri, two daughters, Angela Wallis of Black, Missouri, and Annette Schremp and husband Tom of St. Louis, Missouri, one sister, Jannie Cook of Laddonia, Missouri, 8 grandchildren including her granddaughter that lived with her, Megan Tancsa, and 11 great-grandchildren.
