Sidney Mann

Sidney “Sid” D. Mann, 83, of Greenville, MO, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Memphis VA Medical Center, Memphis, TN. He was born in Brushy, MO, July 8, 1937, to parents Frank D. and Ida E. (Foster) Mann

Sid was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He married Carolyn Deering, May 30, 1959. He stationed in Germany while proudly serving our country in the United States Army. In his younger years, He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and playing golf. Sid found pleasure in people. He enjoyed going to Greenville Gas Mart to visit and talk with his peers. He was a great provider and loved his family with all he had. Sid will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and community.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of fifty-nine years; brothers: Doug Mann, Marvin Mann, Raymond Hodge, George Hodge; sisters: Dorothy Murphy, Bert Erxleben, Betty Clyburn, Lena Hodge, and Inez Chill.

Sid is survived by children: Kenny Mann and wife Becky of Arnold, MO, Dave Mann and wife Tammy of Arnold, MO, Vickie Richmann and husband Paul of Walls, MS, Jimmy Sargent and wife Tresa of Charleston, AR; grandchildren: Nicole Richmann, Ashley Richmann, Levi Mann, Leah Callahan, Brent Sargent, Scott Sargent; great-grandchild; Jude Richmann; and brother: Raymond Mann and wife Velma of Atlanta, GA.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, December 11, 2020, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at the Greenville City Cemetery with full military honors. At the family’s request, masks will be required at all times. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
