COVID-19 Cases Surpass 700 in Iron County

 COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Iron County. After a dramatic jump in cases over the weekend, the Iron County Health Department announced Monday that there have been over 700 total cases diagnosed within the county.

Forty-six new cases were added in Monday’s report from the Health Department.   There have been a total of 721 positive cases reported, so far.  As of Monday, there are 81 active cases in Iron County; 23 of those come from long-term-care (LTC) facilities.  

There have been a total of 91 COVID cases in LTC facilities, so far.  The Health Department expects the numbers to continue to climb as we head into the new year.
