Four new deaths, in Iron County, have been reported from COVID-19. Health officials announced the increase on Monday in a Facebook post.
According to the post, one of the four new deaths occurred in August. One took place in November, and the other two happened in December. “We do not report deaths until we receive death certificate confirmation, and that can take some time,” said the post.
The ages of the deceased range from 44 to 82.
Nine new positive cases were added on Monday, making the total of positive cases reported in the county 801. As of Monday, there 60 active cases.
