Wilma “Joyce” (Martin) Wagner

Wilma “Joyce” (Martin) Wagner, daughter of the late Earl and Zella (Buxton) Martin, was born in Des Arc, Missouri, on July 22, 1953. She departed this life at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri, on December 21, 2020, at the age of 67.

Joyce enjoyed being a seamstress, fishing and camping, being outdoors, and the Gospel. She was a wonderful loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Joyce devoted all of her time to teaching her family the will of God and his glory. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, Lois, Mary Lou, Maxine, Eunice, Ethel and Belle, two brothers, Glenwood and Jim, and one great-granddaughter, Lillie Masterson.

Joyce is survived by one daughter, Janlenna “Gidget” Masterson and husband Edward of New Bloomfield, Missouri, two sons, Bryan Martin and wife Tasha of Ellington, Missouri, and Todd Parker and wife Amy of Eugene, Missouri, six grandchildren, Clint Masterson and wife Christie of Clarksburg, Missouri, Amy Smith and husband Travis of Jefferson City, Missouri, Cayden Martin and Coral Martin both of Ellington, Missouri, Connor Blank and Payton Blank both of Eugene, Missouri three great-grandchildren, Lainy Masterson, Henry Masterson and Jackson Wright, five brothers, John Robert Martin of Piedmont, Missouri, Clifford Martin of Centerville, Missouri, Wayne Martin of Joplin, Missouri, Leroy Martin of Joplin, Missouri and Carl Martin of San Antonia, Texas, and one sister, Caroline Kimes of Piedmont, Missouri. Joyce will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing.

 

Visitation: Monday, December 28, 2020, from 2:00 – 2:30 PM at Hampton Cemetery
