John Curby McCullough of Bismarck, Missouri, passed away on December 4, 2020 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 88 years. He was born on July 12, 1932 the son of the late Wayne and Rosie (Harley) McCullough.
John and Roberta “Bert” (Lamirande) Jannetta were long time companions for over fifty years. She survives and resides in Bismarck, Missouri. John is also survived by his son, Russell “Buddy” McCullough of Romance, Missouri, and his brother Raymond McCullough of Auburn, Washington. Thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his children: Cathy Laube, Jo McCullough and John Lloyd McCullough; brothers: Curtis McCullough and Prentice McCullough; and sisters Judy Linten, Eula and Cozy.
John served our country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He attended the Church of God in Doe Run, Missouri. John was an owner/operator of a service station for many years.
