Lawonna Elaine Mason

Lawonna Elaine Mason, 61, of Annapolis, MO, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Iron County Medical Center, Ironton, MO. She was born in Red Bud, IL, July 15, 1959, to parents Claude and Lena (O’Connor) Wilkins. Lawonna was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She married Tommy Ray Mason September 4, 1976, and to this union, two daughters were born. Lawonna was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. She loved to dance, and enjoyed crafts, flower arranging, and gardening. Lawonna loved her family and enjoyed living on Funk Branch. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-nine years. Lawonna is survived by her mother, Lena, of Annapolis, children: Lela Mason of Annapolis, Chistina Berry and husband Sean of Springfield; grandchildren: Devin Tate, J.J. Miller, Jacob Miller, Connor Mason; brothers: Lance Wilkins and wife Debbie, Lamont Wilkins; sisters: Lisa Hamilton and husband Kevin, Lacinda Sutton and husband Dale, all of Annapolis. Lawonna will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Funeral service was at 12:00 noon, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Steve Sale ministered to the family. Lamont Wilkins, Lance Wilkins, Connor Mason, Kevin Hamilton, Dale Sutton, Sean Berry, J. J.
