Nicholas Lowell Lorenz

Nicholas “Nick” Lowell Lorenz of Ironton, MO went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10, 2021 at the age of 40 years, 8 months, and 20 days. He was born April 21, 1980 in Fredericktown, MO to Jeri and Susan Sumpter Lorenz who survive. Also surviving are three daughters, Caitlin, Harper, and Brinley Lorenz; two brothers, Jerid Lorenz and wife Angie of Wildwood, MO and Chris Lorenz and wife Suzie of Ironton, MO, his loving and caring girlfriend Christin Buhler of Fredericktown, MO, and many more loving family members and friends. Nick was Baptized and Saved as a child at the First Baptist Church of Ironton, he graduated from Arcadia Valley High School and started working for Little Tikes. After working with Little Tikes for several years, Nick went on to work for Wright Tree Service where he worked hard for 11 years and was promoted to General Foreman. Nick’s work ethic, faith, personality, and ability to make friends with everyone he met helped in becoming an amazing father, foreman, uncle, cousin, and friend. Nick loved to spend time with his daughters who were the light of his eye; whether it be daily activities, fishing, or humming them to sleep, he always did everything with love when it came to the girls. He also enjoyed deer hunting with his brother, Chris, and several friends at their deer camp in Ellington, fishing, playing golf, and one of his favorite activities, making everyone around him laugh. Nick Lorenz was a one-of-a-kind guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a heart the size of the universe and loved all his family and friends. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00 am from the First Baptist Church of Ironton. Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm from the Cole Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Nick’s daughters.
