Charles Harold Goodson

Charles Harold “Charlie” Goodson, son of the late Lawrence Goodson and Agnes (Gilmer) Goodson, was born in Ironton, Missouri, on July 29, 1954. He departed this life at his residence in Annapolis, Missouri, on February 3, 2021, at the age of 66 years.

 

Charlie attended the Free Spirit General Baptist Church in Vulcan, Missouri.

 

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Joe Goodson, and two brother-in-law’s, Michael Polk and Curtis Kaempfe.

 

Charlie is survived by three sisters, Lorene Alcorn and husband Eugene of Annapolis, Missouri, and Carolyn Polk and Sue Kaempfe both of Des Arc, Missouri.

 

Early in life Charlie worked for S & S Lumber in Annapolis for many years. Charlie also worked with his mom and dad, his sisters and myself cutting and selling firewood in the Annapolis area.

 

Charlie also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching television, working with his flowers and working in his vegetable garden.

 

Charlie leaves many nieces, nephews and friends to mourn his passing.

 

 

Visitation: Friday, February 5, 2021, from 10 AM-12 PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri

Funeral to follow at 12 PM

Burial: Ellington Memorial Cemetery
