Nancy Eileen Tanner
Nancy Eileen Tanner, 74, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, June 13, 1947, to parents Ray Vernon and Juanita Pauline (Allen) Berry.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Roger Tanner September 29, 1990. She worked in the lunchroom at Clearwater Middle School. Nancy loved to shop and find good bargains. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and traveling. Nancy was a fun to be around. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a family-oriented person and loved to just be around her family. Her family was her life.
She is preceded in death by both her parents.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of thirty years; children: Cody Tanner, Bryan Tanner, Charlene Carson, Beverly Tanner; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; brothers: Gilbert Berry, Danny Berry; sister: Anita Kay Humble; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Nancy will be greatly missed.
A visitation was held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. Graveside service followed at 2:00 pm, in Duncan Cemetery, Williamsville. Pastor James Stewart ministered to the family. Roger Tanner, Cody Tanner, Danny Berry, Tom Humble, Ron Tanner, Jim Tanner, Bobby Tanner, and Braxton Leavings served as pallbearers.
