Phillip R. Tanner

Phillip R. Tanner, 36, of Greenville, MO, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021, near Greenville, MO.  He was born August 5, 1984, at Kennett, MO, to parents Thomas and Paulette (Rohan) Tanner.

On January 29, 2007, he was united in marriage to Christina Turner. He is survived by his loving wife and his mother; he is also survived by two daughters: Justice Tanner and companion Zach Chestnut, Faith Tanner; grandson, Emiliano Chestnut; sister, April Tanner; special nephew, Waylon Moore, all of Greenville, MO. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a Christian of the Baptist faith and had past attended White Hollow Church near Clubb, MO. Phillip was employed as a laborer with Royal Oak Charcoal at Ellsinore, MO. He often enjoyed BBQ’s with family. He was a loving son, brother, father, papa and uncle. He also enjoyed fishing and watching the LA Rams. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Visitation was held Friday, June 25, 2021, at 9:30 am, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, MO. Funeral service followed at 11:00 am also at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville, MO. Pastor Rick Knotts ministered to the family. Zach Chestnut, Ricardo Simota Sr., Ricardo Simota Jr. Rickie Passley, Richard Passley, and Tyler Wilfong served as pallbearers.
