George Kenneth Box

George Kenneth Box, son of the late Clifford Lewis Box and Virginia Daphine (Lowimore) Box, was born in Dallas, Texas, on September 4, 1955. He departed this life at his residence in Lesterville, Missouri, on September 5, 2021, at the age of 66. 

George was united in marriage to Raechel Spaulding. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and the Missouri Baptist Executive Board. George enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, mandolin and mountain dulcimer, and reading and studying. He was great at making beef jerky. George was athletic, playing high-school and semi-pro football, coaching his children’s soccer and football teams, walking, hiking, and running. Most of all George loved serving the Lord and serving others.

George was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Virginia Box. 

George is survived by his wife Raechel Box of Lesterville, Missouri, two sons, Geoffrey Box and wife Laura of Kansas City, Missouri, and Joshua Ozment and wife Leigh Ann of Hartselle, Alabama, two daughters, Kelly Box of Plano, Texas, and Jorden Kidwell and husband Matthew of Burleson, Texas, one brother, Doug Box of Mansfield, Texas, one sister, Kathy Bell of Alvarado, Texas, and 13  grandchildren, Alissa, Madelyn, Elijah, Taylor, Alexander, Caleb, Emma, Lyndsey, Rebekah, Karis, Samuel, Lily and Owen. George will be deeply missed by a host of family and friends who will mourn his passing.
