Charles Billy Albert

Charles Billy Albert, age 76, of Piedmont, passed away Monday, September 20th, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born August 4, 1945 in Redford, Missouri, the son of James Albert and Ethel (Brunk) Albert-Duncan.

Bill was a retired truck driver and had attended the Church of the Nazarene in Annapolis. He was married to Letha Beaty January 5, 2018 at Redford, MO and had lived in Piedmont for many years.

Preceding him in death are his parents, 7 brothers, Elvis, David, Truman, Bob, Ed, J.R. and John Albert, and 3 sisters, Mable Ross, Macy Barnes and Nora Morris.

Survivors include his wife, Letha Watkins-Albert, of the home, 1 son, Billy Albert, of St. James, MO, 1 daughter, Tammy Tucker, of Trenton, MO, 3 step sons, Tony Duncan, of Piedmont; Dave Tinsley, of Piedmont; Fred Bennett, of Florida; 3 step daughters, Cindy Goodson, of Piedmont; Barb Duncan, of Piedmont; Susan Brouk, of St. Louis; 4 brothers, Larry Albert, of Kansas; Carson Dailey, of West Virginia; Elmer Jackson, of Canada; Andrew Anderson, of West Virginia; 3 sisters, Anna Duncan, of Florida; Faye Jewell, of Piedmont; Betty Powell, of Jefferson City, MO, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services were held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Pastor Doug Massie officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Cremation followed the ceremony.
