Janie Mae Kelley
Janie Mae Kelley, daughter of the late Gilbert Creek and Myrtle (Bailey) Creek, was born in Grandin, Missouri, on September 25, 1948. She departed this life at Iron County Hospital in Pilot Knob, Missouri, on September 22, 2021, at the age of 72.
On February 24, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri, Janie was united in marriage to Dewey Kelley. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2011. Janie attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Lesterville, Missouri. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening and shopping, Janie’s greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandkids.
Janie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, David Kelley, one daughter, Beverly Camille Kelley, and two brothers, Burnell and Kenny Creek.
Janie is survived by one son, Dean Creek and wife Gaila of Silva, Missouri, one daughter, Charlotte Renee Kelley of Lesterville, Missouri, 3 sisters, Bertha Ward of Louisiana, Judy Amsden of Reynolds, Missouri, and Hilda Smith of Farmington, Missouri, 6 grandchildren, Christen, Zachary, Justin, Gavien, Katlyn and Kelly. Janie will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Visitation was held Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at McSpadden Funeral Home, Lesterville, Missouri funeral to follow.
Minister was Pastor Gary Aubuchon. Burial was at Huff Cemetery.
