William R. Posey

William R. Posey, age 70, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Mt. Juliet, TN. He was born March 4, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Charles Posey and Betty (White) Posey.

Bill was raised in Wayne County and was a retired electrician. A long time resident of St. Louis, he was of the Missionary Baptist faith.

He was married to Mary Jinkerson May 16, 1970 and she passed away May 12, 2009. Also preceding him in death are his parents, Charles and Betty Posey and 2 brothers, Chester Posey and Mike Posey.

Survivors include 2 children, Christie Crawford and her husband John, of Ohio, William L. Posey and his wife Amber, of St. Louis, 1 sister, Patti Walker, of Mt. Juliet, TN, 1 grandson, Devin Crawford and many cousins and other family and friends.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 with Rev. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Interment was in the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
