John Edward Kopfman
John Edward Kopfman of Lake Killarney in Ironton Mo. passed away at Mercy Jefferson Hospital in Festus Mo. at the age of 68. He was born February 10th 1953 in Oceanside, New York to the late John H and Margaret (Combes) Kopfman.
John graduated high school in 1971 at North Babylon High School in New York. He moved to Ironton Mo. in the late 1980’s. He worked many years as a Baker and a cook. The last two years he worked for Randolph Electric as a laboror. John was a ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’. He loved being outdoors, and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. Although, the last few years we did have to hunt for John a few times. John enjoyed camping and sitting around a campfire drinking beer with friends. He also loved to play golf, and pitch horse shoes, and especially bowling. He was a member of The Eagles Club in Pilot Knob, Mo. John was a long time member of Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge 2330. He was a Past Exalted Ruler, and served on many committees.
He is survived by his two sons. John Kopfman Jr (Ironton Mo.), Jeffery Kopfman (Ironton Mo), and sister Kim MacGregor (Long Island, New York), and many friends and loved ones.
A Celebration of life was held at Lake Killarney Lodge on 10/13/2021 at 6pm.
