Larry Michael “Mike” Conway

Larry Michael “Mike” Conway, son of the late Roy Conway and Velma (Karnes) Conway, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 22, 1948. He departed this life at his residence in Salem, Missouri, on October 11, 2021, at the age of 72.

Mike was a member of the Salem American Legion Post 99 and the Salem Country Club. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, Mike’s greatest joy was spending time with his friends and family. 

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Gary Conway Sr. and Rexel Conway. 

Mike is survived by one son, Chad Conway of Salem, Missouri, two daughters, Stephanie Woods and husband Shawn of Poseyville, Indiana, and Lamanda Parsons and husband Michael of Salem, Missouri, three sisters, Karen Goulding and Pat Minks both of St. Louis, Missouri and Pam Whitaker of Salem, Missouri, and six grandchildren, Anita, Hailey, Logan, Carson, Riley and Sage. Mike will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing. 

Visitation was held Friday, October 15, 2021, 11AM-1PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri. Funeral followed at 1PM. Minister was Pastor Jimmy Decker. Burial was at Bunker Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Conway Jr., Chad Conway, Greg Ammerman, Jason Gollaher, Logan Woods, Shawn Woods, Carson Woods and Corey Damouth.
