Richard Bollinger
Richard Bollinger of Annapolis, MO went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 87 years, 1 month, and 16 days. He was born September 18, 1934 in Sabula, MO to the late Paul Everett Bollinger and Pansy Faye Mueller Bollinger.
In September of 1996, Richard was united in marriage to Gladys Hale Bollinger who survives. Also surviving are four children, Richard L. Bollinger and wife Cindy of Annapolis, Michael L. Bollinger and wife Deborah of Annapolis, Deborah Copeland of Annapolis, Paul Joe Bollinger and wife Linda of Des Arc; one sister Joyce Hale and husband Lewis of Annapolis, eight grandchildren, Terry, Taria, Jason, Amy, Marshall, John, Matt, Heather; several great-grandchildren, and many more loving family members and friends.
Richard was preceded in rest by his parents and a brother in infancy, Earl Eugene Bollinger.
For many years Richard worked very hard to support his family on the family farm, and logging the dense woods of southern Iron and Reynolds counties.
He and Gladys were members of the First Baptist Church of Annapolis and attended faithfully for as long as they could.
A Celebration of Life was held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Annapolis.
Rev. Dan Pitcher officiated the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bollinger Family Cemetery Association through Peoples Community Bank.
