Carolyn Sue Case
Carolyn Sue Case, daughter of the late Muriel Cottrell, was born in Bunker, Missouri, on December 13, 1935. She departed this life at St. James Living Center in St. James, Missouri, on November 6, 2021, at the age of 85.
On February 2, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, Carolyn was united in marriage to William Boyd Case. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2004. Carolyn attended the Bunker First Baptist Church and the Bunker Union Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidering, puzzles, word searches, watching Judge Judy, flowers and making Christmas candy, white birthday cake and donuts. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandkids and her dog, Daisy.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Muriel Cottrell, and her husband, William Case.
Carolyn is survived by seven daughters, Debbie Parkman and husband James of Bernie, Missouri, Alma Jean Helvey and husband Eugene of Bunker, Missouri, Beverly Farmer of Farmington, Missouri, Sheila Phillips of Bunker, Missouri, Janet Case of Bunker, Missouri, Sherry Miller and husband Dewayne of Bismarck, Missouri, Theresa Case of Bunker, Missouri, and in addition to her seven children, she also raised her granddaughter, Carla Green and husband Rick of Fenton, Missouri, and her grandson, Jerry Case and wife Alessa of Farmington, Missouri. Carolyn is also survived by her 1st cousin, Maxine Lough of Bunker, Missouri, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Carolyn will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing.
Visitation was Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 11AM-2PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri Funeral followed at 2PM.Minister was Elder Dennis Burns.
