Joy Nell Kennedy Williams

Joy Nell Kennedy Williams was born on July 23rd, 1955, in Campbell, MO, to Paul and Joyce Kennedy and she departed this life on November 7th, 2021. She spent her life taking care of others and living up to her name by bringing Joy to everyone she met. 

She was united in marriage to Terry Williams on April 20th, 1976, in Long Beach, California. They were married 45 years, from this marriage came 2 sons, 5 grandkids, and 2 great grandkids that she was so proud of and loved with all her heart.

She is survived and loved by her husband Terry Williams of their home in Bunker, MO, her sons, Stacy and wife Jennifer Young of Black, Bryan and wife Susan Williams of Jefferson City, MO, her grandchildren, Trevor Young of Malden, MO, Cody and wife Megan Young of Bernie, MO, Garrett Young of Black, MO, Travis Williams and Xander Williams both of Jefferson City, MO.

She is also survived by her dad, Paul Kennedy, 1 brother, Rick and wife Paulette Kennedy of Bernie, MO, 4 sisters, Donna and husband Mike Norden of Bernie, MO, Rhonda and husband Dave Rinker of Valley Mines, MO, Beverly and husband Bob Adams of Malden, MO, Kim and husband Lannie Blake of Malden, MO, sister-in-law, Peggy Kennedy of Bernie, MO, sister-in-law, Bernice Pyle of Malden, MO, Sharon and husband Pete McElwrath of Holcomb, MO. A host of special cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. And a special lady that Joy always loved Josie Gennero.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Kennedy, her mother-in-law, Margie Arnold, her grandparents, 1 brother, Robbie Kennedy, 1 brother-in-law, Travis Williams, 2 sister-in-law’s, Janet Melton and Barb Hatton.

Joy loved her family with all her heart and soul and will always be greatly missed by all that loved her.

There was a Memorial Service held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 2PM at the Bethany Church in Campbell, Missouri. Minister was Pastor Bryan Johnson. Arrangements by McSpadden Funeral Home, Ellington, Missouri.
