Willie Ray O’Neal

Willie Ray O’Neal, son of the late James C. O’Neal and Edna L. (Lewis) O’Neal, was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 3, 1961. He departed this life at his residence in Bunker, Missouri, on November 8, 2021, at the age of 60.

On June 13, 1992, in Eminence, Missouri, Willie was united in marriage to Ida Louise Page. Willie attended the Crossville Baptist Church in Bunker, Missouri. He worked at the Reynolds County Sheltered Workshop for 28 years. Willie attended Taekwondo classes and was above 1st degree black belt. He attended numerous karate classes in Salem and went to many competitions around the Springfield and Columbia areas. Willie enjoyed celebrating Christmas with Ida and his friends and going on a yearly anniversary trip with Ida. He also enjoyed hunting with his friend Charlie Turner, and spending time with special friends, Alma Helvey, Tom Case and Glenna Schult.

Willie is survived by his wife, Ida O’Neal of Bunker, Missouri, and all of his friends and co-workers at the Reynolds County Sheltered Workshop. He will be deeply missed by Ida and all of his friends who will mourn his passing. Visitation was held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, 10AM-12PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri. Funeral followed at 12PM. Minister was Pastor Len Young. Burial was at Bunker Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers Donations can be made to the Reynolds County Sheltered Workshop.Arrangements by McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri.
