Cecil Dale Turner

Cecil Dale Turner, son of the late Wallace Arthur Turner and Rosalie Fern (Smith) Turner, was born in Bunker, Missouri, on April 8, 1941. He departed this life at Salem Memorial District Hospital in Salem, Missouri, on November 17, 2021, at the age of 80.

On December 8, 1994, in Eminence, Missouri, Cecil was united in marriage to Levada Louise Swiney. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2018. Cecil was a member of the World Church of God Church. He was a great mechanic and musician. Cecil enjoyed gardening and watching westerns, especially The Rifleman. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and grandkids.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, Donna Sue Swiney, and 3 brothers, Jerry, Doyle and Junior Turner.

Cecil is survived by his son, Phillip Thompson and wife Kim of Salem, Missouri, 2 daughters, Mildred Sue Acoff and husband Jeremy of Bunker, Missouri, and Sherry Turner and companion Robin Hart of Bunker, Missouri, 2 brothers, Ronald Turner and wife Lavern of Bismarck, Missouri, and Paul Turner and wife Donna of Salem, Missouri, 3 sisters, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Cecil will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing. Visitation was Friday, November 19, at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri. Funeral followed.

Minister was Pastor Bill Anderson. Burial was at Turner Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations can be made to McSpadden Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements by McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri.
