Letha Nadine Pierson
Letha Nadine Pierson, age 95, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at her home near Annapolis. She was born May 19, 1926 in Redford, MO, the daughter of Roy Santhuff and Ina (Pogue) Santhuff.
A long time resident of Annapolis, Nadine was an Avon Distributer for over 36 years and had attended Free Spirit General Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Nadine was married to Alvin “Spike” Pierson May 6, 1950 and he passed away December 13, 1993. Also preceding her in death are her parents, Roy and Ina Santhuff, two daughters, Sandra Sullivan and Treva Pierson, and one sister, Mildred Barton.
Survivors include 5 children, Leon Setzer and his wife Linda, of Maryland Heights, MO, Eric Pierson and his fiancee Lori, of Annapolis, Karen Brawley, Vonnie Pierson and Elaine Pierson, all of Annapolis.
Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Brad Sullivan, Holly Ferguson, Scott Setzer, Christy Gaither and David Brawley, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
Nadine will be very deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Bro. Pete Ruble officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and David Brawley, Justin Brawley, Steve Shaw, Scott Setzer, Bradley Sullivan and Chris Heath served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Mann Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
