William “Dave” David Brewer

William “Dave” David Brewer, 73, of Annapolis, MO, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born November 17, 1948, in Annapolis, to parents Lee and Macy (Lucy) Brewer. Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was self-employed and owner of his logging business. He married Eva Lou Silvy, November 17, 1972, and they were blessed with two sons. Dave was a caring and loving person. Above all he loved helping people. He was truly a good Samaritan. Dave loved going to restaurants, buying, trading, and auctions. He was a past caretaker of Annapolis Cemetery for many years. Dave was a member of the South Iron School Board for thirteen years, and the Masonic Hopewell Lodge in Lesterville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson: Dawson James Brewer; brothers: Everett, Walter “Blackie”, Ray, and Raymond Brewer. Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-nine years, children: Jeffrey David Brewer and Keith Alan Brewer both of Annapolis; grandson: Kaden Brewer; brothers: Eugene Brewer, of Annapolis, James Brewer and wife Sandy of Ironton, Wayne Brewer and wife Suzette of Farmington; sister: Lenora Miller and husband James of Arcadia, many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dave will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Monday, November 22, 2021, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont Chapel. A Masonic service was provided at 12:30 pm by the Hopewell Lodge #239 of Lesterville, MO with funeral service following at 1:00 pm, also in the Piedmont Chapel. Pastor Howard Casteel ministered to the family. Music was provided by niece, Kelly Minghi. Jack Rutter, Homer Lewis, Kevin Brewer, Buddy Brewer, Mike Minghi, Doug Funk, Dave McClanahan and Clayton Keathley served as pallbearers. Burial was in Annapolis Lewis Cemetery.
