Annapolis Man Dies In Crash

An Annapolis Man died Friday, Jan. 14, in a two-vehicle crash in Iron County. The accident occurred at 2:22 p.m. on County Road 118, five miles north of Annapolis.
Shane O. James, 35, of Annapolis was southbound in a 2005 Mercury Mariner. Lewis A. Hale, 89, of Annapolis was northbound on a 2014 Polaris Ranger.
The Highway Patrol said Hale’s vehicle turned into the path of James’ vehicle. Hale, who was not wearing a safety device, was ejected from the UTV.
Hale was pronounced dead at the scene by Iron County Coroner Tim Harbison.
