Christen Danielle Creek

Christen Danielle Creek, age 31 years and 8 months, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.  She was the daughter of Dean and Gaila (Aubuchon) Creenk of Silva and a sister to Kelly Ann (Creek) Butchart and a sister in law to Brendan Butchart of Farmington, who all survive.
She loved life and had many friends. She was involved in the Mount Olive Baptist ministry and served on the staff with the Youth and Children’s Camp at the Wayne County Southern Baptist Association Camp.
She served at the New Hope General Baptist Child Care facility at Silva. She also worked at the South-Central Missouri Community Action Center where she received her Certification in Child Care and was licensed to operate a Child Care facility.
Her last place of employment was at Mid-Continent Steel and Wire in Poplar Bluff. She and her dad loved to turkey and deer hunt together. She over time had owned a few cars to which her truck was one of her pride possessions, except for the “Payments”
She received Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 9 during children’s camp and was united by believer’s baptism with the Mount Olive Baptist Church. She loved to harmonize with family at church.
Along with her surviving parents are grandparents Gary and Gadys Aubuchon, her uncles and families, Nathan and Janice (Tibbs) Aubuchon, of Piedmont, Michael and Phoebe Aubuchon, of Poplar Bluff, Aunt Charlotte Kelley, of Lesterville, many cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Greenville with Rev. Gary Aubuchon officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Shannon Kelley, Jacob Aubuchon, Tim Aubuchon, Dustin Barker, Matt Williams, David Ward and Brendan Butchart served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the New Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
