Natalie Skaggs

Natalie Skaggs, 86, of Clubb, MO, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born in Shook, MO, on May 16, 1935, to parents Ernest and Esther Uella (Richmond) McCollum. Natalie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith and past attended Richmann Chapel Church. She married Rosel Ray Skaggs March 1, 1950, and to this union, six children were born. Natalie enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, and quilting. She was an avid craftsman and an antique collector. Natalie loved to fish, go to the river, and hunt mushrooms. She worked as a seamstress for a short time but mostly enjoyed spending her time nurturing her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-seven years sons: Ray and Tommy Skaggs; brother: Ernest McCollum Jr.; sisters: Carol Gerald and Annalyee Haddox. Natalie is survived by her children: Ernie Skaggs and wife Brenda of Clubb, MO, Norma Gilbert of Boise, ID, Pauline Caton and husband Charles and Kathy Brinkley both of Otterville, MO; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; brother: Dale McCollum. Natalie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Visitation was held at 6:30 pm, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service was held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, January 13, 2022, also, in the Greenville Chapel. Pastor Richard Sanders ministered to the family. Charlie Caton, Jason Caton, Tammy Watson, Jesse Skaggs, Ernie Skaggs, Bobby Skaggs, and Marty Yount served as pallbearers. Burial was in Richmann Cemetery, Shook.
