Bunker Man Seriously Injured
A Bunker man was seriously injured Monday resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on County Road 6040 one mile south of Highway 32, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 1988 Chevrolet Pickup, driven by Brent W. Strange, 29, was westbound at 9:15 a.m. Monday when it swerved to avoid another vehicle, ran off the north side of roadway, overcorrected and ran off the south side of the roadway striking a fence and a tree.
Strange received serious injuries in the crash and was flown to Mercy Hospital Springfield by Air Evac Air Ambulance.
The Chevrolet sustained total damage and was removed by Whitaker’s Towing.
