Reynolds Co. Ambulance Administrator Resigns
District Looking for Three Members
To Serve on Board of Directors
Not only is the Reynolds County Commission looking to fill seats on the county’s ambulance board, they are now looking for an ambulance service administrator.
JD Jagelovicz resigned as the district’s service administrator June 30 when the ambulance board of directors came out of executive session. The closed session portion of the meeting was held after three of the four remaining board members announced plans to resign.
The county commission is actively looking for a replacement. A job description for the position has been posted on the Reynolds County Courthouse’s Facebook page.
“The commissioners are working at this time on two possible scenarios for the continued operations of the service,” said Presiding Commissioner Joe Loyd. “We are gathering information as quickly as possible and will be updating you with more information as it comes available.
“At the present time we looking for board members to serve in the Jackson, Carrol, and Logan townships. We have individuals willing to serve in the other three at this time but will update if anything changes. At this time we may schedule a town hall type meeting for informational purposes and input from the community in the next two weeks.”
The county commission will be accepting resumes and applications for the position of Ambulance Director. No date or time frame has been set at this point, but could be potentially done before the end of July.
Any inquiries can be made through the County Clerk’s Office at 573-648-2494 ext.110 or you can contact Joe Loyd at 573-366-4543.
“We are trying to handle this in a timely and intelligent manner,” Loyd said. “Please be respectful of the current board and all of those involved.”
