Gerald Christopher Prouty

Gerald Christopher Prouty, 66, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at Clarks Mountain Nursing Home in Piedmont, MO. He was born September 9, 1955, to parents Harry and Christine Prouty.

Gerald was a loving father and husband. He was of the Christian faith. Gerald loved Mustang cars; he had a wide variety of collectable cars. In his younger days he worked at the Sheltered Workshop in Piedmont. If you knew Gerald, you knew his love for Diet Dr. Pepper. He had a big family who loved him, including his Clarks Mountain Nursing Home Family.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Marylin; children: Harry Prouty of Williamsville, MO, Gerald Prouty, and Robert Lee Prouty, Rose Prouty of Williamsville MO, and Alice Prouty; brothers: Albert Prouty of Columbia, MO and Gary Prouty of Springfield, MO; sister: Alice Prouty of St. Louis, MO. Gerald will be loved and missed by family and friends.

A graveside service was held Friday, September 2, 2022, at Mt. View Cemetery in Des Arc, MO. Bro. Bill Turner ministered to the family.
