Jack R. Sullivan

Jack R. Sullivan, 77, of Greenville, MO, passed away, Monday, August 29, 2022, at St. Peters Manor, St. Peters, MO. He was born in Clubb, MO, April 23, 1945, to parents William Rance and Gladys Mae (Allen) Sullivan.

Jack was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was of the Baptist faith. Jack worked in construction and was a union carpenter. He worked over fifty years with the union and has earned several awards from the Carpenter’s District Council of St. Louis, MO, and Vicinity. Jack was recognized for fifty years of continuous membership in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America and was granted honorary membership. Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed helping others and dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers: Frank, Newt, Donald, Willy Joe, and Bill Sullivan; sisters: Freda Tucker, Roselie Eads, and Janet Ferdinandy.

Jack is survived by his son: Cameron Sullivan and wife Julie of Wentzville; grandchildren: Jack Hayden, and Ava Mae Sullivan; brothers: Sam Sullivan of Everett, WA, Michael Sullivan and wife Judy of Arnold; sisters: Ruby Brandon of Ferguson, Pat Beckham of Bridgeton, Donna Jones of Wentzville, Dinah Barker and husband Robert of Irondale, and Carol Sullivan of Creve Core. Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation was held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel. Funeral service was held at 1:00 pm, also in the Greenville Chapel. Bro. Kenny Burchard ministered to the family. Bruce Sullivan, Randy Beckham, Billy Sullivan, Chris Baker, Jack Sullivan, and Ron Henson served as pallbearers. Burial followed in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Silva, with full military honors provided by The United States Army and American Legion Post 281 of Piedmont. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
