Terry Lynn Marler, 68, of Matthews, Missouri, passed away June 13, 2022. Terry was born May 30, 1954, to the late Wilma Louise Bratton Huett and Robert Huett.
Terry was united in marriage to Tom Marler on June 15, 1978, he survives. She loved spending time with family and friends and playing bingo. Terry was the head cook at the New Madrid High School for several years before becoming a cook at the State River Bend Treatment Center until retirement in 2010. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Matthews, MO.
Terry is also survived by three sons, Thomas Marler, of Greenville, MO, Robert Marler, of Matthews, MO and Matthew Marler, of Matthews, MO; one daughter, Amber Swilley, of Conran, MO; one brother, Kenny Huett, of Perryville, MO, two sisters, Sherry Huett, of Jackson, MO and preceded in death, Jerry Lou Huett; three grandsons and two granddaughters and many more cherished family and friends. Her memory will be treasured by all the lives she touched and she will be deeply missed by those who loved her. We say good-bye knowing she is at peace after a long battle with illness.
On behalf of Terry’s family, a memorial will be held at Williamsville’s school gymnasium on Sunday, September 25th at 1:00 pm. Join with us in saying goodbye to our friend and loved one.
