Cletia Lee Lawson

Cletia Lee Lawson, age 88, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at her home in Mill Spring. She was born May 20, 1934 in Neelyville, MO, the daughter of William Spicer and Burlis (Blue) Spicer.

  Cletia worked for many years for Standard Machine Company in St. Louis and worked for 20 years for the Wayne County Home Health Service. She was married to Cecil T. Lawson April 5, 1952 in Piggott, AR and he passed away April 12, 2003.

  Also preceding her in death are her parents, her daughter, Shirley Lawson, her brother, Floyd Randolph Spicer and her sister, Rhetta Gean Spicer.

  Survivors include 2 children, Sheron Lawson, of Mill Spring, Cecil L. Lawson and his wife April, of Piedmont, 3 grandsons, Adam Lawson, Cody Lawson, Ethan Lawson, 4 great grandchildren, Connor Michael Lawson, Ava Michelle Lawson, Urijah Quinn Lawson and Calvin Sterling Lawson, as well as many other family and friends.

  The family would like to especially thank Chad Atnip, Tonya Lawson and Jeff Waller for all their love and kindness shown to our mother.

 Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Rev. Mike Miller officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Cecil Lawson, Adam Lawson, Cody Lawson, Ethan Lawson, Chuck Lawson and Chad Atnip served as Pall Bearers. Interment was in the Carson Hill Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
