C.J. Brimer

C.J. Brimer, age 43 of Piedmont, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born November 21, 1978 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of John Brimer and Margaret Moss. 

  C.J. was a Clearwater High School graduate and was a self employed auto mechanic. A long time resident of Piedmont, C.J. had served in the US Army from 1998 to 2001.

  He was married to Susan Langston October 30, 2021 in Piedmont and she survives him.

  Also surviving is his step father, Danny Kirkpatrick, of Cape Girardeau, his grandmother, Jane Swope, of Piedmont, 11 children, Julia Carpenter, of Piedmont, Emerald Hawkins, of Orlando, FL, Meralyn Brimer, of Piedmont, Caidence Brimer, of Patton, MO, Olivia Brimer, of Piedmont, Curtis Brimer, of Piedmont, Riley Brimer, of Patterson, Chris Mulcahy, of Bonne Terre, Sommer Phillips, of Mill Spring, Jamie Dugan, of Mill Spring and Michael Poe, of Piedmont.

  In addition, he is survived by 2 grandchildren, Jax and Emmy Mulcahy, of Bonne Terre, his cousin, Rodger Swope, of Jackson, MO, and many other family and friends.

  Funeral services were held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont with Bro. Richard Sanders officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Military Honors were given by the US Army and the Piedmont American Legion Post Honor Team. Cremation followed the services under the direction of Morrison Funeral Chapel.
