Harold Vance

Wm. Harold Vance entered into rest at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the age of 55 Years, 3 Months, and 25 days.

He was born June 15, 1967 in Ironton, MO, a son of the late Hosea and Louise Rice Vance. On aOct. 8, 1988 he was united in marriage to Tracie Helms, who survives.

To this union was born two sons; Spencer Helms and wife Jayne of Farmington, MO and Quinton Vance of Pilot Knob, MO. Also surviving are two brothers; George Vance of Middlebrook, MO and Charlie Vance and wife Annette of Imperial; three sisters, Dorothy Savage and husband Dave, Jessica Bone and husband Mark, both of Arcadia, and Sandra Midkiff and husband Dave of Annapolis. Two grandchildren; Aria aka (Boo) and Kaden aka (Gunky) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Growing up Harold attended the Pilot Knob General Baptist Church and recently attended the Liberty Baptist Church near Ste. Genevieve. He was a Boiler Maker, worked at ISP, Union Pacific Rail Road, and was also employed by Fisher Furniture for 20 years and was known by many as “The Dish Guy”.

He was a member of the Ozark Mountain Gobblers Chapter of the NWTF serving on the Banquet Committee and was a member of the Arcadia Valley Elks Lodge #2330.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Cole Family Chapel. Celebration of Life was held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at Cole Family Chape. Interment took place in Arcadia Valley Memorial Park.
