June Marie Thurman

June Marie Thurman of Ironton, MO, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the age of 87 years, 7 months, and 27 days.

She was born February 14, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to the late Henry Joseph and Edna Blanch (Weirich) Eichhorn. On September 8, 1953, June was united in marriage to Albert “Bud” Thurman who preceded her in rest on August 1, 2019.

To this union six children were born, Donnie Thurman and wife Kim of Ironton, MO, Timmy Thurman of Pilot Knob, MO, Gary Thurman (the oldest twin) and wife Misty of Ironton, MO, Larry Thurman (the youngest twin) of Ironton, MO, Wendy Cauley of Hillsboro, MO, all of whom survive, and the late Jeff Thurman who preceded them in rest on August 12, 2007.

Also surviving June are two sisters, Sharon McKee of Texas and Karon Winters of Ladue, MO; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many more loving family members and friends.

For 21 years, June worked as a machine operator for the National Vinyl Company to help support her growing family. June loved her family and friends, she had a very strong faith in her Lord, and she was one of the biggest Finger Hut aficionados the company has ever seen. June will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

A Visitation was held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Cole Family Chapel. A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the Cole Family Chapel.
