Darlene Anderson

Darlene Anderson of Belleview, Missouri passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 15, 2022 at the age of 73 years.  She was born May 13, 1949 in Fort Mammoth, New Jersey the daughter of the late James Coppit and Wanda (Wampler) Coppit Garcia of Farmington, Missouri.

On December 2, 1967 she was united in marriage to Wayne Francis Anderson who survives.  To this union two children were born: Mickee Anderson of Park Hills, Missouri, and Richard Anderson (Lindsey) of Imperial, Missouri.  Darlene is also survived by five grandchildren:  Austin Wilfong (Madelyn), Garrett Wilfong (Ashley) and Allie Wilfong (fiancé Matt McCartney), Lena Anderson and Eleanor Anderson, and her first great granddaughter: Novalee Blake McCartney due to arrive in January.  Other survivors include her brother: James Coppit (Brenda) of Zachary, Louisiana, and her sister: Dawn Hoxie (Seward) of Rock Island, Tennessee as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Darlene worked at Iron County Security Bank as a teller and in the loan department.  She also worked for Riverside Lumber Company.  She later helped Wayne with all the bookkeeping for their business, Anderson’s Garage and Auto Sales. Darlene’s life centered around her family, especially her grandchildren who brought her so much joy!  She was always happy and cheerful to everyone.  Darlene enjoyed collecting jewelry some of which she would use to make crafts.  Her Christmas ornaments are treasured by her grandchildren.  She was also a scrapbooker and all her grandchildren have their own scrapbook.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m.  at Bryson Funeral Home Chapel.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brysonfuneralhome.com
