Alma Jean Kelley
Alma Jean Kelley entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the age of 77 Years, 8 Months, and 8 Days. She was born Feb. 14, 1945 in Ironton, MO, a daughter of the late Larry and Dorothy (Orr) Douglas.
On Aug. 14, 1961 she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Kelley who survives. To this union was born six children; Cheryl Russell and husband Kevin of Belleview, Wesley Kelley of Farmington, Marcy Smith and husband Jim of Ironton, Anna Wolff and husband Robbie of Ellington, Larry Kelley and wife Danielle of Cape Girardeau, and Barbie Evans and husband Doug of Farmington.
Also surviving are three sisters; Delores Marsh of Magnolia, Arkansas, Ellen Russell and husband Gary of Ironton, and Jessie Harr and husband Ellis of Middlebrook; 10 grandchildren; Carrie, Duane, Russell, Steven, Katie, Emily, Joshua, Gabriel, Silas, and Zoe; 5 great grandchildren; Kloey, Riley, Sorai, Will, and Deja, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother Tommy Douglas.
Alma attended a Pentecostal Church near Lesterville and was a devoted Christian. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and she loved spending time with her family.
Visitation was held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Cole Family Chapel with a Celebration of Life on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Cole Family Chapel with Rev. Michael Barton II officiating. Interment will be in Huff Cemetery.
