Lane Ross Roderman

Lane Ross Roderman, son of Franklin Ross Roderman Jr. and Susan Angela (Wells) Roderman, was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on February 10, 2001. He departed this life at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on October 26, 2022 at the age of 21.

Lane was an Apprenticed Embalmer and Funeral Director at McSpadden Funeral Homes, Inc.  He was a dedicated Christian and member of the Lighthouse Temple in Ellington, Missouri. Lane was on the Praise and Worship Team at church. He enjoyed singing at church, ministering to the youth, and working on his grandpas farm. One of his greatest joys was hunting and fishing with his brother, Holden. Lane lived and loved life to the fullest. He never met a stranger and spread laughter and happiness everywhere he went.

Lane is survived by his parents, Frank and Susan Roderman of Ellington, Missouri, brother, Holden Frank Roderman and girlfriend Kaitlyn Belk of Ellington, Missouri, grandparents, Trena Massie and husband David of Van Buren, Missouri, Ross Roderman of Ellington, Missouri, Pam Wells of Ellington, Missouri, and Bob Wells of Winter Haven, Florida, bonus Grandpa “Pop” Leon Grogan of Ellington, Missouri, great-grandparents, Jeanie Marie Roderman of Ellington, Missouri, and Jo Poulson of Licking, Missouri, Uncle Chris Roderman of Van Buren, Missouri, Uncle Tanner William Roderman and significant other Payton Page of Bunker, Missouri, Aunt Kim Wells and significant other Michael of Ellington, Missouri, and Aunt Robyn Pogue and Uncle Joe Pogue of Ellington, Missouri, and four special cousins, Bella Pogue (12), Jordyn Pogue (8), and Maddy Pogue (16) all of Ellington, Missouri, and Rhytt Roderman (2 months) of Bunker, Missouri.  Lane will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation was held Friday October 28, 2022 at McSpadden Funeral Home in  Ellington, Missouri. Funeral was held Saturday October 29, 2022 at 1 PM with Minister Wayne Roderman officiating, and music done by Wayne, Theresa, and Buck Roderman. Burial took place at Ellington Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers included Frank Roderman, Holden Roderman, Ross Roderman, Rylee Hunter, Cameron Brewer, Will Copeland and Garrett Morris.
