Crum Takes Office as County Clerk Monday

Friday will be Kent Sisco’s last day as Wayne County Clerk. On Monday, Rhonda Crum will take office.
Crum, a Republican ran unopposed for the position after David Bollinger withdrew from the race due to health concerns. This will be Crum’s first foray into politics.
Since April 2015, Crum has served as the office manager for the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department. Her other work experience includes technical support at McAllister Software Systems (2014-2015), Carter’s Heating and Cooling (2012-2013), and lead customer service specialist at Ferrellgas (1998-2011).
Crum is a 1984 graduate of Clearwater High School. She is married to Travis Crum, and they are the parent of three grown children—Josh Crum, Rachel Aguilar, and Sarah Tripp.
Morgan Takes Office in March
Tammy Morgan was elected county collector in November. However, she will not take office Jan. 1. The term for collectors begin in March. She will replace Rhonda Cates who did not seek a second term in office.
All other people who were elected in the November General Election are currently serving in office. They will be sworn in later this week for another four-year term in office. These officeholders include: Presiding Commissioner Darren Garrison, Prosecuting Attorney Ginger Joyner, Recorder of Deeds Cindy Stout, Treasurer Amber Sturgeon, Public Administrator Penny Schulz, and Associate Circuit Judge Christina Kime.
